Alright guys I have a 2001 Suburban.. Well actually its my moms, but shes ttrying to sell it.. She says she will sell it to me for 2 grand.. Its in near perfect condition inside and out but just PLAIN.. No power windows , no air, NO second or 3rd row seating etc , 2 WD which is a big deal in Minnesota .. But heres what Im thinking.. It has a 5.3 L V8 with 57,000 miles , and the ****** is solid, so its gonna last for a while.. SO.... Do these big *** SUVs have alot of potential, or does it take alot to make them loud due to their size.. Obviously if I did a wall , It would nt matter.. I really dont know what to do guys and want your opinions...

Well Not really a "monster" But just something thats around 150.. If I could find some 2nd row seats I might do 4 15s in a box behind them.. If I cant get 2nd row seats.. I was thinking a wall, then having a little room in the back for whatever.. Im assuming groceries lol

Ehhh I dunno guys.. Its kind of a bummerI guess.. I wouldn't mind having a retarded loud daily driver, but I'd hate to have to pay for gas in that thing. Especially with all the weight and current draw.

Yea I hear ya man.. Ive had a few other threads in here looking for other "reliable fun cars" But then Thought .. Hmm well i love Car audio/video, maybe I can make this into something, think OK 2K for the truck.. I put about 10K into it over a year or so in rims, suspension, stereo a few engine mods etc, and Ive got a nice reliable vehicle for 12K with only 57000 miles on it.. That will get 18 MPG hwy.. And that sucks.. If you saw Ive been looking for all kinds of cars man.. I just wanna be happy and get something thats not gonna nickle and dime me anymore like my Diamante has since the beginning, and will get good mileage and be a good car for me.. But everything on craigslist or the net , you never know what your gonna get.. Even if it is a deal.. And I look at it like this.. Ok , I can get a really nice reliable car like a civic, accord corolla etc but Ill Pay 25K.. OR I can get a nice 2002 Mustang cobra or ***** am for about 12 , and have a really fun car.. Which is actually what I DO want, but I cant get a loan due to my shit credit.. SO my only option seems to be trading in my diamante and the suburban on something new..
