What should I tune to and How many cubes

Hey everyone,

I just ordered 2 15 CVX's and I would like to get started on the box's I am going to do two separate boxes just because. I listen to rap and thats pretty much it.

Why sealed? As for the other question a double box seems more difficult to build and this is my first build ever.

just go on the box plans in the enclosure section of CA.com and get a plan...cut the pieces slap sum caulking wood glue and screws together and u got ur self a box

go to kicker and see what it calls for sealed or ported im not sure but ive been hearing of sealed cvx's...do u want more sq or spl...?

than go ported...i just did a ported enclosure with a slot port 2 days ago its tuned to 35 at 2 cubes it pounds but im only running 1 memphis m3

ported 3-5 cubes but what frequency or hz whatever its called

im on kicker now and it calls for 1.75 to 2.25 for 1 so double that...i would do 4 cube from around 30 to 35 hz

the 1.75-2.25 is for 12's if im not mistaken... the 15" says vented 3-5 so i should double to 6
