Are you sure your labels aren't backwards usually when a model ends in 4 it is a 4 ohm sub, you got pictured a 2 ohm sub. The d6104 is a 4 ohm sub, no?

From what I read...your going to run 500rms x 2(subs) so that equals 1000rms. Your running them in a 2ohm load so 1000rms x 2(ohm)= 2,000. The sqrt of 2,000= 44.721 That is what you should set your gains at assuming you are running that amount of watts @ 2ohms, without no bass boost or nothing.

Raisedin305, you are counting his subs twice. 500x2=1000, 500x4=2000

provided he us running 1000rms for both subs (500x2) then he needs the square root of 1000, not 2000.

i worked on my system a little today and what i did was put the lpf to 85hz and bass boost off and gain all the way up.....The subs were barely hitting...yes i checked the wiring ground power etc. im almost 100% sure its my signal to my amp, so im gonna get an adjustable LOC soon and see if that helps...so currently my settings are 85hz lpf, bass boost at 8 out of 16, and gain all the way up.... i just keep the bass low on my head unit...

What level is the subwoofer on the HU?

He uses a LOC so there is no "subwoofer" selection. Just "bass" on the eq.

Are you sure the LOC that you have is wired correctly to your head unit? You really need to get your hands on a meter to track this issue down. Do you have a spare set of rca cables that you could swap in? Or, you could run a cable out of another car to your amp and see how it sounds.
