Amp cuts off????

I recently put a lanzar 1500d amp in my car and after 3 days it cut off, but still has power. I disconected everything on the amp and after 2 days put it back on and it worked fine for about 10 min and then sound goes away again, but still has power. Now I know this is a cheap amp and really did not expect much out of it, but 3 days:crap: . Does anyone know what could be wrong, any help would be appreciated, I have never had this happen to any of my amps, then again I have never used an amp so cheap. I just needed something quick and this came along.

I took my amp to get checked, and it so happened that i had a connection inside the amp that had broken loose:( . They said it was because i had the amp mounted on the box and the vibration had probably done it. Is their any way this can be prevented when mounting your amp on the box. This is the first time this happens to me, then again this is the first time I mount an amp on the box.

Yes it was, I really dont believe what I was told. It only cost 10 bucks to fix though as it was only something that had to be soldered. I was in front of the person that fixed it, and it was indeed a broken solder. I was just wondering if it is possible to hurt of damage your amp by mounting it on the box, like I said I had never mounted an amp on the box this was the first time.

Some say it is a bad idea to mount an amp on the box. I have done it time and time again. Never had an amp fail because of it. Think about this. Is there a panel in a car that doesn't vibrate when the subs hit? Cheaper amps have a tendency to fail. A poor solder joint is going to fail sooner or later regardless of mounting.

Is there a panel that does not vibrate?? What are you talking about...

Any who, Mounting to the box is not bad as long as it is a well built box. A properly built box should not be vibrating.
