what should i do???

i bought a used x7 off ebay and to my luck its going into protect and making a high pitched buzzing noise.. no smoke,burn smell,etc

i'm going to try to send this off to get fixed tommarrow or send it to the local tv/audio repair shop i just want to get it working as quick as possible... should the local place be up to repairing my amp? or should i send it to mtx its not under warranty i was thinking about also sending it to kb... whats everyone think i should do???

well since its a fosgate amp i would send it to fosgate, but thats me, but if your willing to let it go for cheap i might take it off your hands

hmnmm yeah i saw those sounded to good to be true, you could try going to a local dealer and asking them to send it in, they charge you shipping but u might get a slightly better fixing price

yeah at the moment i'm not really friendly with the local rf dealer and theres only one... but i'll call rockford in the morning and see what they'll charge me and aslong as its not too crazy of a price i'll send it they're way in the morning. its putting out power so it cant be TOO bad but ya never know. either way hopefully i can have this thing powering my 2 l7's as planned next monday..
