As many of you guys know i wanted to sell my 00 Neon to get a 98-99 Nissan Maxima, well i keep on going back and forth on my decision on wether to keep my Neon or sell it for about $3000 and save up for a maxima for about a month or 2 maybe 3. The neon has 78k miles in perfect condition... has a decent trunk were i might be able to fit the 18XXX if not then i will have to go for the 15.

I will slam on some 19's but no less than 18's, what would you guys do?

is it autiomatic? standard with about 80K. is it fully loaded (for a neo)? cause 3000$ is high usually neons in texas area go for around 2500$ 00-01 standard with 70K+

automatic, 78k, neons dont come fully loaded, not $3000, $2800 but clost to 3k

im thinking to just keep it and paint it black and slam some 18s or 19s on it with some darker tints and paint some of the interior black and put an xxx15 in the back with 4.5cuft @ 35hz

LOL before it loses it's value. It already has trust me. Id just keep the neon till it runs to the ground...I've been a dodge tech for years the neon is actually a fairly reliable vehicle, except for headgasket problems in 95 and 96. They generally run very well especially the newer body styles. Id recomend keeping it cause u wont get anything near as much out of it so you might as well use it till it dies and definately get your moneys worth out of it.

plymouth isnt made anymore lol. if so keep the car make sure it is tuned up and taken care of. i am reworking on my 89 custom crusier olds 450K and it runs like a new car.

My dad took care of this car like it was me, changed oil every 3k miles, has new tires now, he ALWAYS took care of it, u know how much a pure black paintjob would run for?

Same thing I was thinking... about depreciation. That is just sad lol, how much was it new? A maxima is gonna depreciate way more than the neon lol. In two years the maxima will depreciate as much as the neon is worth right now haha.
