What should I do for my Electrical?

I'd get the 140 and either another batt out back or a good batt up front. If you get another in back i'd do a single run of 0, then split it after the 2 batt to the 4awg if that's what your amps inputs are.

Upgrade the alt, get a better battery under the hood, if your big 3 isnt 0 gauge already, make it so, you can keep the 2 runs of 4 gauge if you want, its more than likely going to carry the same current as the 0.

BTW, I seriously doubt that Honda was doing this back in 97, but you might want to make sure that it doesnt have an ELD in the ECU, this will make your HO alt more or less useless, I have a 2011 Civic with the ELD crap in it so I have to maximize my efficency because of it

97 def has it.

I am getting ready to bypass it, it is pretty easy.

Keep_Hope_Alive did a write-up on it.

I saw where keep_hope_alive mentioned he was in the works of bypassing it, do you know where his write up is, I would really like to take a look at that

It is super easy

Unplug the ELD (brown square in main fuse under hood)

Stick a 820 Ohm Resistor between the green and black wires

I just bought a pack of 5 of them, I can send you one for $.50 postage if you want.

Quoted from another forum. This is 100% how I am doing mine as soon as my resistors come in.

I removed the plug from the ELD itself inside the under-hood fusebox. Now the ELD is out of the car's electrical system.

I pushed one resistor lead into green/red wire terminal on the wire end of the connector, and I pushed the other resistor lead into the black wire terminal.

I left the plug loose, NOT plugged back into the ELD. There's plenty of room inside the fusebox to safely tuck away the loose connector.

My alternator now runs all the time, ranging from 14.00 to 14.75.

Man, I have pretty much set up as you, or used to.. I have a 96 honda accord with two runs of 4 guage and a stock 90 amp alt and the big 3 done. Also have a kinetik hc2000 in the back with an aq 2200 at .5 ohm. My voltage didnt go below 12 volts. Dont buy that ebay alt! Ive bought one a couple years back. Theyre horrible at idle. Your stock alternator puts out more at idle.
