check sig for setup...

purpose: spl for the most part..

total rms: prolly around 1300

battery: ac delco i think..

pros: louder than i need it to be. like the sound of my type Rs. good low frequency extension. minimal dimming with my stock alt. looks fairly celan too.

cons: wow i could go on forever... coaxial speakers sound like ass, not really any great place for components.. especailly 3 ways which is what i want to try.. speakers dont keep up with bass, not enough midbass, head unit *****, cuts out sometimes, weird cd ejecting sometimes, amp makes a clicking sound on turn on that i could do without, and most of all my car rattles everywhere.. every panel, back hatch, almost all glass rattles, dont know where to start with the foam and mat.

if only i had money............

Daily setup

capacitor: HAHAHA

total RMS watts: umm, 1000ish

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: Gets pretty loud for a single 10" in a regular cab s-10, but i'm an SPL junky so it's never enough. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Pretty stealth install for having a HUGE box, an amp and sub behind the seats

purpose (IE: spl): Daily driver setup, SQLish

Competition setup

battery: everstart MAXX

subwoofer(s): two 10" type-r's

front speakers: pioneer 4x6

rear speakers: pioneer 4x10

amp(s): orion 2500d

capacitor: once again, HAHAHA

total RMS watts: 2000+

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: It gets ridiculously loud (148+ at the HEADREST), but is in no way, shape, or form a daily driver box. Far too uncomfortable for driving, but i do drive with it in every now and then to cruise nights and scare people. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

midbass: 6.5" Seas Lotus Performance

amp(s): JBL GTO 755.6ii 6 channel

total RMS watts: 620w?

purpose (IE: spl): SQ

I like the fact that it is neutral sounding. Whatever on the CD will be played, whether it be flaws in the recording, CD, or those fine details in the background. It's very smooth and I think my system sounds pretty darn good. I like the center imaging and dash high staging. The only thing I dont like is the sub and the decision of what tweeters to use. Sometimes, I like the lotus tweeters more than the LCY ribbons, and sometimes I visey versy.

Nothing too amazing though, compared to what others have here

capacitor: none

total RMS watts: 1400 currently...2000 when my broken opti2000d gets back

pros/cons about your set-up, how you like it, etc: I took alot of time sound deadening the whole vehicle and prepping the doors for my front stage. The CDT's sound amazing. Those little 8's pump out some good bass as well. For the cons I miss all the room I used to have in my truck.

purpose (IE: spl): Daily drivin...needed something to rock out to.

Soon to come will be a 12" MT in a Team Toxic bandpass box and an orion 2500d. Going to experiment with what a single 12" can do in my truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
