I got a 2007 vw jetta having the port come throu the arm rest.

Not sure about box yet. Mite have team toxic bass design it. How much DB should i expect out of this setup. Just curious. Thinking about a 10cf tuned at 34hz. Can someone help me out that deals with XXX

are you using plexiglass for the entire box? i heard plexi isnt good for much of anything except for show...

That box is over TWICE the size it needs to be also... 10cubes... is too big.

Just wondering... A friend of mine was telling me if i did everthing right i would hit around 155db. Parts i left out where. I have 200ft dynomat. Foaming all the factory holes, all panels are going to be dynomat and the brushed over with second skin doing 2 layers... Any ideas why he was thinking 155db. What would make a differentance that i need for this build. Thanks for all your non-neg input. Jeff

what numbers should you expect box building?

im gonna say 110 db from the drill (if its corded)

screws wont gain you anything because they dont make any noise unless they start splitting wood.

cutting the wood is probably around 140db (if you cut the wood in your garage)

and again the battery charger will be no dbeez either cause its pretty much silent.

so your best bet is to use the table saw @ 140db
