What meter should I get?

I have 2 fluke t5-600's (construction) I have one. dad just found another somehow...

anyways, I tried metering my RCA output on a line driver and it did nothing.

What is the cheapest meter I can use to set gains, meter rca voltage, etc, etc.

I also have some crappy $10 flip book mete from home depot somewhere I think.

Did you set it to AC volts?

Did you use a 50 Hz sine wave? If its a true rms meter you can use higher frequencies for highs amps but needs to be a sine wave.
