What is wrong with Employees?

Because the professor doesn't teach me anything more than I learned in the textbook that I read before class to prepare.

Although I quit browsing when I got the scholarship.

I agree with this as well. There must be incentive and the employee must be worth a shit. They go hand in hand. I know I never took any job seriously until I was made manager.

Then your professors **** and should be shot. My school may ****, but many of the professors are retired in the field they currently teach and offer "real-life" experiences in conjunction with the material.

Ive been on both sides of the fence on this subject, and it could be debated all day.

I think everyone should be self employeed at one point,this will help you understand how the employer thinks.

If I choose to I can sit on my *** all day and nobody will say a word to me I can do whatever I want when ever I want but if I choose to do nothing my bills will not get paid.

Its up to me and only me to run my business and provide for myself.

Im a believer in piecework, you do this I pay you this, granted it dosent work in all situations.

I wish they would give me more responsibility where I work...but I don't think I could find another job making the same, doing the same so I try not to rock the boat.

I can say that I have had some really great jobs in my life, including office jobs. I started an office job as a peon making 8/hr (just needed a job for school) and four years later when I left I was a department manager making salary. If I hadnt decided to move I would still be there. So there is good and bad everywhere.

I post all the time from work. Funny thing is I am the manager now, lol! My job honestly a monkey could do it. So yeah I get paid to post I guess,lol! If you were me, sitting where I am at, you would be doing the same thing I am. Being in LP not much happens unless someone gets hurt, which we are going on 120 days straight without injury or someone steals, which 2 cases just happend. First in a long time and I caught them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Or a fire or claim of some other sort happens. So I probably work 2 hours a day in my 8 hour shift. Just how it is. I only get on here and thats it, besides most everything else is websensed anyway. All us LP people do it, just a way to pass time. I think it is funny people get so mad about other people doing it when they have no clue as to what their job duties are.

It will be ok Joe, it's just another day.
