i all ready got a dual 1 ohm sub. so just looking for amp options.Highly suggest that you don't try to run something at '.5 ohm'
Our coils are dual .7's..which putss you at a .35 DCR...
You'll burn stuff up, not a good idea.
Get dual 2ohm coils, wire in parallel for a 1ohm nominal load..easier on equipment and much safer.
i'd run at 2 ohms personally. kicker and rockford both have amps that do 2500. directed makes one (orion). many amps that do 2500 rms.i all ready got a dual 1 ohm sub. so just looking for amp options.ho alt soon to come with in a couple weeks
thank youi'd run at 2 ohms personally. kicker and rockford both have amps that do 2500. directed makes one (orion). many amps that do 2500 rms.
edit: actually, with the directed amps, youd need 2 1200's strapped to do 2 ohms.
and still rofl-waffle worthyyour late its been stated. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i have it in series right know and i have no problemsYour going to have a hard time finding an amp that you aren't gong to fry for a daily scenario..your best bet would probably be a viper2500 or kicker2500 and wire the coils in series for a 1.4ohm DCR...
.35ohm dcr is not going to be your friend.
and still late. go get me a juice box. juice box boyand still rofl-waffle worthy
then you are sitting at 1.4 ohms, just as stang stated.i have it in series right know and i have no problems
Exactly, if you wired it in parallel (.35ohm) you'd start to have problems.i have it in series right know and i have no problems
so im good ?Exactly, if you wired it in parallel (.35ohm) you'd start to have problems.
Your amp would be trying to put out more current...then voltage.
