What happened to Pioneer?

i was a hardcore pioneer fan but lately you don't get enough for your money so i went with the dnx 8120 **** never thought a kenwood would be this good screw pioneer they don't even try anymore i mean come on, how long has the rca's been f***** up on their radios?

Pioneer = Buzz in your ear

With all the threads about the grounding problems with the RCA's I don't know why anyone would recommend them.

Probably because for every 1 person that comes here and posts about the RCA problem, there are 1,000 happy owners

In fact I was hit with the RCA noise issue. I bought my Premier 860MP from EBAY brand new. I got the noise about 1.5 years after puchase. I dug up my Paypal receipt, and sent it off and had it fixed for FREE, no questions asked.

There is no excuse for their RCA problems after this long, but at least they will fix it w/o hassle.

Besides the 880 the 8600 was the last deck that pioneer made that i like. I have an 8600 in both my cars and love them. The only problem ive ever had with them is they dont like to eject cds but Im usually listening to sirius or my ipod anyway. I have never had noisy rca's with pioneer and I've had a 6400 7400 two 8600's and another that I can't remember now.

i went out and played with the pioneer F700BT DD unit today, and from all the negative comments, i was actually surprised at how nicely it was built.

The knob/buttons/etc didnt feel/look cheap to me. It wasnt made of anything heavy or overly durable (it shouldnt need to take bullets anyways), but i would definately not call it cheaply built.

I think they released their new lineup a little early, but they are recooping themselves with firmware updates. I'm gonna jump ship and get the F90BT when i get home and get the firmware updates. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Pioneer makes great products, there are always more vividness in people who compain vs teh 1's who are happy.

That why when you see reviews for shit, the good reviews are all short, but the few bad ones always go on for pages and pages, about people nitpicking and refrasing shit over and over again

100% user error...

My 980 has never givin me a single problem...nor did my 860...or none of the other countless pioneers I have installed...

any ground problems is user error, if the user fu$ks up the product, its not the products fault...

i would have to agree with that one have owned litally like 40 different pioneer HU's and not a single one had any type of problem or ground loop issues .. always wandered why that was ..
