Okay, so on June 3rd I made a purchase from a fellow on sounddomain.com. He had/has great feedback and no negative feedback, tons of refs. I bought a set of MB quart discus series components off of him for $62.58. (Odd number because I didn't want to add more money to my paypal account, he understood and settled with me).
Now, I originally requested that it was sent by USPS with insurance and a tracking number. He said something to the extent of "Well I always use fedex and have had no problems at all with them, is that okay if I used them?" I said sure why not, I guess that's okay.
It was shipped out June 5th, and picked up at the delivery center on June 6th, I waited and waited only to find no activity on the item after a whole week, it is only a shipment from Texas to CA so I figured it would have been there by now. I call Fedex, they say they will file a blah blah blah form that will help search for it. I call twice the week after, no updates. Finally I get a call sometime two weeks after it was shipped saying it is lost and they will wait another week and then search the lost and found in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meanwhile I say I want to file a claim to get my money back, they say no I can't until the ____ date, little do I know the shipper has called and they say NO ___ date is the LATEST it can be filed, luckily he called that day.
Now I am utterly pissed off with fedex, he agreed to refund my money now, and have the claim filed with him. I said that'd be good for both of us and he went on to file the claim to himself. I ask for my money, he says, well I am moving and money is tight, I have been working too much sorry I can't, blah blah blah.
It is now 1 month and 1 week later, and plain and simply, I want my **** money, there has been too much scamming lately for me to be comfortable here. He says, well you I for sure will not risk my refs just because of $63. Right, so give me my money?
Now, the real point of this long epic battle of BS is, am I in the right to firmly say that I want my freaking money, By the end of this week? I got a PM from him saying he called Fedex and it's still in the process of being filed, today. That's fine and dandy, but I want it now.
