I'll be test driving the Beetle all day 2 morrow... So I'll take some pics of it.. All I can tell is it has alot of dents and the serpentine belt is shot.

umm, my girlfriend has a new beetle. it is good for her. nice and safe, 5 speed. good gas millage, roomy in the front seats. holds up well, lasts forever as long as you take care of it.

Sounds like they did not take care of it, probably a bad sign.

They are kind of a feminine car but that black one looks sweet. My wife wanted a bug but will probably pass due to reliability issues.

GTI is just sexy, I would grab one of those if you can.

old beetles FTW(see sig)

new beetles: i don't see why so many people have a problem with them. when i see most of them, i think they're hideous, but that's only because i'm an owner of an original, and i think they slaughtered it, but i HAVE seen them done nice. the black ones look good as said previously. and one of my ex's had a new beetle, and i'm 6'3'' and i NEVER felt cramped in that thing. much more roomy than people give it credit for.

i say if you find one in good shape for a good price, and you don't care what all the pussies on here say when they see a guy driving a beetle and their own sexuality takes a trip on the insecure side, go for it.
