What color should I paint this car......

DUDE ,definately get rid of that baby poop yellow j/k ... if your going to go after gun metal grey consider doing it in a matte finish,if you dont know what that is ,it is a flat look to the paint instead of shiny, I have done a few motor cycle tanks and one 2door civic with a matte finish and they were awesome!!!

I was sorta wanting to do something like that...but I didn't want it to be mistaken for primer....

No one will mistake it for primer ,it looks incredible it just doesnt have the metallics popping out of it .if that were mine I would paint it matte gun metal grey and some racing stripes maybe black thick stripes with a pearl blue pinstripe around the stripe.

It had an 80-81 style scoop on the hood...but my 79 style I found on ebay came in today to return the hood back to original....

those are titles from my personal rides....I have vehicles parked at both my houses here ...and others parked at my two warehouses....I don't have any experience painting and I want the car painted right...so I'm leaving that job to someone who has been painting vehicles for over 25 years

I talked to the paint guy today.....and I'm bringing the car to the paint shop tomorrow....I forget the exact name for the color we decided on but its a light blue with a silver tint....as far as the factory Z28 stripes...I'm leaning towards the Charcoal and Silver...but maybe the light and dark blue 79 factory stripes...I'm having the yellow wheels repainted black...and I'm adding new polished trim rings and center caps...most likely a new weather seal kit as well ....after the paint is through I plan on starting the system....

I just dropped off the Z28 and decided to go with the Gunmetal Grey with a blue tint in the pearl...Hopefully it will end up looking pretty good....
