what 8" sub?

I currently have an eclipse 87081 that im having a box made for, i might have the opportunity to get an audiopulse epic 8, what's the general consensus of this sub? I was also looking at some of the image dynamic subs, here are my requirements:

must sound good

get louder than my pos pioneer 2504 10" sub

work in 0.3 box

mounting depth ~5", the less the better.

not to outrageously priced ($150ish)

work off 300-500rms (pref at 4 ohms)

if you can fit a sundown sa-8 i would go for that. if not some e8's

SA 8s or E8s both have pretty good sq properties

id be interested in the e8's, and the trubass as well. They look pretty beefy.

The RL-i mentioned in this thread is a great choice, if it'll fit the depth restraint.
