Well, you might want to list your mounting depth, too. Many subs have 6+" of mounting depth needed. Many tuck boxes are very shallow. I started a similar thread today that deals with somthing very similar. I am looking for a similar amount of power, and 10" size. However, I have narrowed my selections down to a few different ones. How much are you looking to spend? The JL you are looking to get only takes 150 watts, and a .625 cft sealed box is recommended. You might look at the Boston Acoustics G2. It handles 300 watts RMS, and a .5 cft box sealed enclosure is recommended. I'm leaning to that one, myself.

sorry about that.the mounting depth for the subbox is 5.25".yea i know that the jl is only 150rms,but i figured my amp wouldn't make 300rms all the time so it should work perfect.the boston also sounds nice.i'd like to keep my price under $150.

thanks for the reply.

You can also look into Pioneer/Premier TS-W256C, that is what I'm getting to replace my JL's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

thanks for all the replys guys.i wouldn't be able to put a spacer on the box,as the speaker is gonna be pretty **** close to touching the back seat.i may try a few of the subs suggested to see what sounds best.i'll keep you guys in touch with what i put in and how it sounds.thanks guys!

Peerless XLS 10inch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

or the VDO Dayton 10inch, which is the same sub, just different colour and stuff...

ok, those specs and stuff are screwy... they list it as 8 ohms, with a 3.4ohm DC resistance?

either way, the 4 ohm version of that driver is good stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

here is the perfect sub for you:

check out the 12 challenge. the MAW12 is one of the loudest subs off that amount of power, and the basket style makes it very shallow. the 10 should be similar. it's about VERY cheap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
