don't let the voltage drop into the tens, your gonna toast that amp and possibly that hc.

if its still dropping that hard when you put the yellow top in then i would turn the gains down or rewire it back to 2 ohms until the new alternator comes.

also, if you end up frying the sundown because of low voltage, its not gonna be covered under warranty. they only cover the amps at .5 if the electrical system is ample.

Yes.

u should upgrade BOTh the front bat and the alty. do the alty firs tthough. for sure do the alty first. make some calls and find a cheap one. im telling you now it WILL be worth the seeral hundred dollar investment. it will be

Ok everyone is telling me to get an alt. Can I get some suggestions where to look?

Already got an email quote from Excessive Amperage 365 shipped, been waiting like 5+ days for a Knukonceptz quote, Iraggi is 290+shipping(50$?), are there any other bases I should cover?

HC 2000 isn't a big *** battery it is the same size as my stock one

Good luck with your new alt, i was looking into the iraggi for my truck, but i belive it is $500-600 for my truck and people were having problems with them on titantalk. But I'm sure this varies from vehicle to vehicle. my Stock Alternator is only 160 amps, but I have to rev the engine to the moon to produce that power. I think it's about 80 amps at idle.
