weird wireing problem

ok i bought 2 12s about 3 years ago and love them so i decide to add a third becaues my new amp is 1ohm stable and i wanted to add a lil more power so i go to buy the sub only to find out the new models are dvc and the two i have are svc as far as the specs they are exactly the same subs,so i was thinking could i run the dvc at 2ohm then run my svc subs together for a 2ohm load leaving me with a 1 ohm load?
