i went outside with DMM, checked voltage @ bat with car off, was same as on display read 12.5.. started car with engine running, same as display 14.3/.4.. turned HU on.. dropped down to 13.6 from 14.4, shot back up to 14.2 quick.. played music.. turned volume to 32 bass was hitting was dipping down to 12.2-13.1 turned music down to 2 on volume, went up to 13.4-13.6.. turned HU off.. voltage went up to 14.2... turned HU back on.. went back down to 13.6

I've never seen that kind of voltage drop just from turning on a HU but I've only put a DMM on 1 vehicle with minimal equipment. Otherwise everything looks normal to me.

i really think it has something to do with this new power wire.. its shit.. its the 1/0g wire loudcartunez had for sale..

The HU turning on kicks on all of your other equipment. A voltage drop wouldn't surprise me, I just have no clue how much to expect.
