Weird Problem With My Sundown Amp

I just reinstalled my SAE-1000D today and it works and everything, but when I went to adjust the gain and such it seems that they don't do anything at all. The gain, LPF, BB, everything was all the way down when I hooked it up, but it sounded like the gain was at least half way up. I turned the gain up a little bit more and nothing happened. It was the same as before so I kept turning it up until I maxed it out and it was still the same. Turned it all the way down again and guess what. Still the same. Played with the LPF and BB and still the same. When I turn the volume up it seems like the gain is stuck all the way up and the other knobs don't do anything at all. I didn't even try hooking up the bass knob. Didn't think that would make a difference anyway. Any ideas people?

one of your rca's are plugged into the slave rca input.

that's the only rational reason, either that or the amps preamp board has malfunctioned.

Yeah, I'd check the RCA's to begin with. If all of your RCA connections are correct then I'd suggest contacting Jacob. He's extremely easy to contact via email so a thread isn't needed if you run into a big problem.

Yeah, I switched the RCA's every which way possible (i think) and still the same.

Check again, sounds like you got it slaved up, no control, all control relinquished to master unit.

BTW, what do you mean by "slave input"?

BR IN BR OUT are for master/slave/strap the amp. Must plug into the other two RCA jacks if you are running only one amp.
