weird compustar problem..anybody help?

i have a two way remote start compustar alarm in my golf and it has worked great for a year...until today

basically, first noticed the LED blnking whilst the car was driving...not a steady blink...rather random..

then went to alarm and just goes to valet mode...wont arm at all...does this 3-5 times then works fine..car chirps and locks fine...then does it again

grrrr....cant arm it right now and its sitting on the street...

any help appreciated

sounds like a ground problem with your alarm, maybe the ground screw came loose
