Ok i am trying to hlep fix a firends car stero. We dont really know what Crossover on the amp means the instrution book says trun knob until the desiered crossover is meet. What acually are we doing when we trun the knob? Also we have 2 mib bass speakers in the back and they are giving more bass than my sub is whys that?

thank you

the crossover sets your frequency at which your subs play...the smaller the number, the lower the frequency...your amp is probably set at too high of a cross over, or maybe you have a low pass filter which you need to activate.

could you list what you are using, amp mids,.....

that should make it a little easier for us to help .

and my guess on the sub is that the sub amp is crossed too high on the bottom end to allow the sub to sing like it wants to.
