Ya that's what I though my sisters did that for no reason either last time I go with a cheap motherboard I am sticking with asus. LOL
onboard video or a video card?i put brand new pny memory in it, no change. No matter what i do it boots the same, hell i booted it with no hard drive or memory and got no errors just the same thing. Im sure the mobos fried, which was my original suspicion. But why would the hard drive be fried as well?
Try taking the video card out and going with the onboard video. I would also check the pins on the monitor cable to make sure they are not bent. It may very well be the board, but you should try everything you can before making that determination.
