weight lifting

I started early October this year and i weighed 140 at the time then i'd lift with heavy weights, do 7 reps with those till i hit muscle failure, had protein shakes almost everyday, used creatine WHILE workinout man that really put some gains on me in the next couple months, then this month the weight and muscle gains finally started happening alittle over 2 weeks ago, guess my body finally got used to the 2000-3000 calories a day and had to put up with it and the 6 meals a day every 3 hours. now i'm 170 and feel alot better about myself then i did when i was a skinny 140 with no muscle tone.

30 lbs of muscle in two months isn't heathly, by any standard. The human body should not lose or gain more than about 2lbs a week (per 75lbs, as a general rule). Grossly inflating your body will lead to stretchmarks and/or muscle failure in the future due to poorly developed muscle groups that were boosted by man-made proteins.

Congrats on seeing improvement, but I think you should consider slowing down on the superfast bulk ups.

theres no way 30 pounds in 2 months was a clean bulk... half of it had to be fat.... either that or a lot of water weight.

but yes with eating a lot and WORKING AT IT you would be surprised how fast you get big

I play soccer in my spare time, and work out with most of my team-mates, so we prefer the lower bodyfat percentage, and super high flexibility with lots of endurance... so my routine is probably a lot different than most in here. But I am 5'10" tall with no shoes on, weigh 155 sopping wet, have a bodyfat percentage of 6% and the girls sure don't seem to mind watching me at the gym... Hah.

I usually run before, and after, my workouts to keep my metabolism high, and I will eat a bananna and drink water during the workout... and eat either fish or chicken afterwards.

I've never been above 180lbs in my life, and I am quite happy with my size and build. Chicks dig it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I used to weigh 270 pure fat so trust me i know about stretch marks

im 200 now after cutting to 180 and bulking/cutting up to 205

do they go away cause i noticed a lot of mine seem to be going away or not as visible

There are ways to help out with stretch marks. The most common is using cocoa butter on the areas you notice them in daily (this is common practice after women give birth and have stretchmarks around their midsections). However, stretching CAN help as well... and losing the weight in a sensible manner (healthy drops) will eliminate the majority of stretchmarks... they will still be there if you gain the mass back, but most will blend right in.

Try cocoa butter.

Cocoa butter is what I was going to suggest. If you dont want to look weird buying plain old cocoa butter just buy a lotion with cocoa butter added. My mom didnt want to be seen buying cocoa butter (my mom is kind of racist...) so i told her to just buy a lotion.

Also Vitamin E will help out. Even using both of these together wont fully remove them though, it will just help to reduce them. Talk to a dermatologist if you they worry you THAT much.

alot was water weight and some fat but not alot, some muscle as well, i'm just glad i got alittle bigger.

what sources do you all use for protein? according to my size, i should be taking in at least 250 grams of protein a day to bulk. where should i get all of this from? i take a little whey protein in shakes and try and eat meaty sandwhiches on whole wheat, but i still dont think its anywhere near 250 grams.
