weight lifting

i go to the gym and im not very big, can only put up 225 bench
no one really cares, and trust me theres plenty of little guys in there
i can't even do half that. in high school i could bench 250, now i don't even do 100 cause i don't have anyone to spot me so i just be safe and use less weight till i build up my muscle

icetee, my friend...taking advice on here about weightlifting is about as smart as taking advice from below 30 on sub enclosures. You know better than that.
like i said before, this isn't my only source, but everything i read contradicts everything else.

NO NO NO. for full efficiency, it's never good to switch reps freely between arms/legs/back/abs/whatever. always begin working out the larger muscles. legs first, then back, then abs, then shoulders, then arms. think of it as working your way up and out. just remember to work the big muscles (in that order) first. finish your reps of leg exercises before moving onto to back, and don't go back to legs later. after you've done the large muscles, start working with the smaller ones.

good tip. so what if i go to the gym in the afternoon/nighttime like around 6 everyday? should i eat alot of protein for breakfast?(i work 3am-9am btw)which would be at like 230, or after work? which would be at like 930? i usually eat before i go to bed. i guess i need to get more foods with more proteinsthan, cuase i eat just about anything

Dude you want to simply wake up, eat some eggs, (good protein) Big glass of milk...Take a protein shake, Then around 9-10 you need to be eating raw foods,,,veggies, fruits, or eat a protein bar....nuts, anythign like that, but small quanities. Then 12-1 You need to eat lunch...Lean chicken breast, Brown rice, or something along the lines of protein, small quantity and low cals, and fats. Then 2 you eat another snack just like at 9-10. Dinner is around 5..Lean meal, high protein again. You can also throw in the protein shake for the mid day snack if you opted to. Then after dinner go workout if thats your time...Come back..take protein shake within an hour of workout. shower or whatever you do,,then eat another healthy snack...Protein before bed is good for your muscles to recover why you sleep.

I have found that making meals like on a sunday night, in bulk and then putting them in freezer is very helpful

Are you trying to loose weight or build muscle? You can do both, but gaining muscle adds weight, so you may get discouraged and think you aren't loosing much weight when in fact you are in terms of bf.

right now loose weight. my plan is too loose 100 pounds, but i know the scale may not show it immediately, but i'll be getting leaner.

my dad's a personal trainer and strength training class instructor, and he's been teaching me everything he knows since i was 13. as of right now, i'm in the process of becoming a personal trainer. i'll be certified in spring. trust me.

SHORT CARDIO, STRETCH, BIG MUSCLES (UP AND OUT), SMALLER MUSCLES, STRETCH, WARM WATER.

High reps 10-15 range, 30 min cardio (4 or 5 times a week) and eat healthy take 3-4 healthy meals plus 2-3 protein shakes a day and you should be good. You've already lost 55 lbs, so you must be doing something right. I'm loosing weight also, 10 lbs in 2 weeks so far. But I've done this plenty of times before so I know what my body responds to.

I need to get in shape also //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Hey icetee how did you lose all that weight and how long did it take you?

This worked out well for me too, but I usually did 25-30 mins of cardio after it. If you want to just lose weight, I'd focus more on cardio. If you want to lose weight and look good, do what he said above with an added cardio at the end.

70 pounds in a little over 3 months was **** good for me. And I did that work out mentioned above basically.

For the first week of losing weight,, the number one thing to do is not to drink any pop,,, try to just take sugars out of your diet,, and eat fruits as they have natural sugars in them,, start the day off with a piece of toast, a vitamin, and a nice glass of milk.. noon, slam a protein shake, pump out 2 sets of 25 pushups.. around dinner time, eat a nice hearty meal, then goto the gym about an hour later.. then have a small snack after words,, maybe a detour protein bar, 31 grams..... ive lost 80 lbs,, i weighed 250, im now at 170...
