Voltage issues

the autozone places sometimes have a portable load tester and can test your batteries without you removing it.
I meant to disconnect the positive wire between batteries, that way he can see if its just a problem with one

J's ult alts here i come x)
Seriously tho i'll let you all know what the autoshop says
I'd go with Singer. Jim will always make it right, and they have a lifetime warranty

Sounds like an alt problem. Did you check to see if the module is pulled all the way back in? i did this before on my impala. Didnt push it all the way back in. After about 3-4 days my batts were drained down to 12.3-4

What is the module? And idk if this is relevant i've had no alt work done

I hitup Singer as well. Once they get back to me i'll decide if the price is worth it.

J's just too sweet (240a (170a idle) for $320)

I looked it up and Hydrogen gas has no smell. I don't think it has to do with the voltage problem. You might be "hallutinatin".

Probably is an alternator problem if you don't eventually charge up to 14.4v.

not every car charges at 14.4v , but he should be seeing higher then 14v . so i say pull the alt. and have it tested. they will put a load on it to see what its charging at. but if you say no higher then 12v when its running, thats the alt. even if you had a bad battery you would still see 13.8 or higher when running. it would just go back down fast with a bad battery. meaning it will not hold a charge.
