Since you have sw out on the hu, you also have a xover for it. Turn the LPF to max or off, subsonic to a little above tuning for safety, I mean like 3-5 hz, just a cun t hair really

I feel the same thing with my paintball guns. I am a recovering gun wh0re. Every time I got a new gun I'd get it to shoot perfectly play with it for a little then trade it away for a new one. I feel the same urge with this. I have this finally set up, I kinda wanna do it over again with a different setup haha. Addicting.

EDIT: Oh, and my preamp voltage is only 2.2, is such a low number taking power away from my sub?

possibly, but i doubt it, unplug the speaker wires and set your input sensitivity (gain) with a DMM. theres got to be a sticky somwhere here for it. look up what your rms at the ohm load your giving it is and set the amp to that rms. but matching the input sensitivity toy our headunits pre outs should give sufficient power. did you figure your problem out yet?

no, the only thing it's affecting is how much you turn the gain knob, other than that it's exactly the same.
