Type X Pro worth the money over others?

I want something that at a lower level it sounds very clean and smooth buy when I crank it up I definately want some good output.
Im not going active because my HU is a Pioneer D3 and it has no active processing, and Im not buying external crossovers.

Trust me, the other sets you were listing will get louder with cleaner sound than the RSDs because they are made from better parts.

I could just sell the DLS A5... There is a guy selling a Clarion DPX11500 locally that I could run for bass and I could buy a nice 4 channel and throw some power to a single set of nice 6.5s...

Possibly, personally I wouldn't skimp on front stage.

PG RSD set is ***. Screw the reviews, they just get loud but sound like *** doing it. Some of us want to hear music besides rap/hip-hop and the RSDs don't even come close to cutting it.

I expected that, I would never touch them, but I guess if the OP likes them that is his prerogative.

Ive got almost 2,000 watts of Eminence and Selenium in my van right now and I love the way it sounds....

Its definately an acquired taste, no debate in that. Maybe something like this... These B&C tweets look sick. If its anywhere near the quality of the rest of B&C they gotta rock.

I've read some people describe the RSD tweeter being smooth. I thought they're very harsh and (it's gonna sound lame) not very clean. Electric guitars sounded awfully harsh and fatiguing, which is something that I need to sound more mellow.

They just didn't sound anywhere near as good as my LPG26NAFMs, which are still pretty much a budget tweeter at about $50+ for a pair. If the LPGs handled more power and the snare drums sounded a bit less "canned", I'd probably still run them.

Ill have plenty of it in whatever SPL car I get. Thinking something like 24 10s, 12 horns, and 12 tweeters on the very back, all firing out. Then a ton of stuff inside to listen to.
