Focal maybe, Alpine is iffy.

For me knowing the pedigrees of the 2 companies and where they are coming from, yes, I would take the Focals over the Alpines.

The ID CTX's are great for the money ,the tweet is just not enough for some people

I vote 2 pairs of the ID CX64, and a set of CD1e horns, run active.

Well I love my tweeter so if its not enough for some, its not enough for me. I think I might just run 2 sets of the PG RSDs. Screw it. They are so cheap I cant go wrong.

I have never heard them, but many people have said they are harsh, strident and overly bright. Also there was a very large amount of blown RSD tweeters right after the RSDs achieved boner status.

I think I might just go ahead with them and then if I end up not liking them, I can always swap out to something else.

RSD tweeter is not even close to the SPX Pro tweeter. I've heard RSD's in a few cars and run the Pro tweeter in mine. Being a ring radiator you need to get them on-axis or output will suffer greatly.

You seem to just want to be loud, so why not stick with what you have?

Why not just go active and get some AA carbon fibers or Mach5 MLI's and whatever tweeters you want?

I want something that at a lower level it sounds very clean and smooth buy when I crank it up I definately want some good output.

Im not going active because my HU is a Pioneer D3 and it has no active processing, and Im not buying external crossovers.
