We don't know what kind of car you drive, how your box is gonna be, or how your box is setup. No-one can tell you. Too many variables. We don't even know which amp your running yet. or even the ohmload your ampis seeing.

Box can be as large as 4 cubes,5 if it on the rear deck and in the well. I drive a 95 pontiac firebird.I will de useing a directed 1500d(untill I buy a 2400d) Will be useing a 1ohm load if I buy the 4 ohm dvc's if I buy the 2ohm dvc's I be running a .5 ohm load. The box will be tuned at like 50 hz and will be in the rear well(trunk area) with the sub's faceing straight up,angleing them foward has show poor output and reduced DB's.

It's more install if you ask me, rather than 2 10" or 1 12". Just look at Tommy's scores with one 10".
