tuning for a l7 15 2006 model

i have a prefab audioenhancer box i dont know what the tuning is i have a test tone cd and my sub doesnt play tones between 30-35hz loud but any thing from 36-45hz it plays loud what would you you guess my box is tuned to and what would you recomend i do to get those lower notes and would the size of the box have anything to do with it my box is 5.68 cuft i was thinking of going to a 4.5 0r 3.5 please help me out all you pros out there

my L7 15 hit some crazy highs even though i had my box tuned to 35 hz GO LOW WITH THE L7!!!

would 32hz in a 4.5 cuft box be a good idea

yeah but if you want to hit really low go to like a 27-29 range cuz the L7 hits the highs as well my box was 35hz @ 4.5

I got mine tuned to 40hz with 800w in a 5 cube net slot port box crx style and it demolishes my poor truck....not that that hurts my feelings

L7's dont play the lows as powerful as alot of other subs. They tend to play the highs or higher notes loud. If i were to make another box id go 4 cubes at 30hz. 35-55hz is where the sub shines.......

limited bandwidth, but it makes up for it with output

i wouldn't tune higher than 35hz

i've got mine at 30hz, in 6cubes. perfect for me, the range is real good
