Type R, X, or W7

I'm lookin to get some new subs. I was wondering whether you guys think i shoould get 2 12" type R's, 1 12" type X, or a 12" JL W7.

W7 has been my fav so far.

major...unless you have a real good box design

build a good box, get 1000 watts to it and youll be extremely pleased

with a correct box design with all three lineups of those subs, two 12 R's are going to be louder.

My R's have plenty of SQ, I love them

id get 2 12" type X, with about 1900 watts rms to both or 2000 if u can get it, then it would be crisper and louder imo then a W7, and cheaper

Output - W7, Type R, Type X

SQ - W7, Type X, Type R

Depends on what you want, the W7 is all around going to be the stronger driver, you're just going to pay more for it.

i agree with the sq but i disagree a w7 is going to have more output then 2x type R
