Here's a good comparison, and I hold it to be quite valid (in terms of what the subs is used for)

E=RE RE

S=SE

R=SX

X=XXX

XXX is more SQ oriented, SX is the daily driver/SPL sub. Type-s is kinda in the middle, and the E is the base line model.

And Tommy, I rather dissagree about comparing an SX to a Type R... lol I would rather have a Type R over an SX anyday. Except the magnet is shiney

Stef hasn't hurt one since the box was done, I think most we damaged during testing. now they are fine, with 4400 watts each.

**** is the SX really that bad to be bashing them, i havent even hooked mines up yet, but i will soon state my input. Given that i have heard three setups with the type r's and i would have to give them their props they do get loud and clean. But i like to be the odd ball out of the group and run a diffrent setup than the R's. But im pretty impressed of the R's for the price they sale them for. Well i mean the price i can get them for which is about 110
