Type R Hype...?

You drive a tahoe and you only want two 12's? Gmonk fit three 15" Type Rs in TCAB Boxes in the back of a expedition.. a tahoes even bigger

very true. with little space left.

gmonk has 6 treo 12's back there. says there alot louder with the same power.

*sigh* another type r thread? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Type R is good for price & loud thats all. Just not for me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Sounds about .6 DB's short of a single 15" Type R in a TCAB //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

my goal is 145 with one type R 12''

my new setup should be in late next week and it should hit 140.

yea I lost db due to weak alternator. I need upgrade mine. I would've hit at least 153-155 db. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

for the price type R's cant be beat.

and for that guy that made this post. i would run one 15'' type R. because it takes less power and has the potential to be just as loud as two 12's.
wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. 2 12"s will always kill the 1 15" as long they are each in the right enclosures. and how could a bigger sub taking less power be louder?

i am going off of what mark has said.

1 15 takes less power than 2 12's for daily driving.
