2x IDQ12 vs 1x IDMAX 12

Last one, I promise...

Looks like the IDMAX would probably cost me a bit more than 2 idq's... but what would be louder, and sound better? I've got 1600watts to play with, and I'm going sealed, under 2cubic feet either way.

havent heard a max but 2 idqs got plenty loud with 250 watts to each. and that was sealed(1 cube per sub). i say the 2 idqs, more cone area.

Well, I HAVE the amp, the IDMAX says it will take 1800watts peak, but I can gain it appropriately.

Gained properly, would one max be louder than 2 q's?

wowww..im really surprised ID rates them to take that...im sure they would be gettin a lot of returns if people were sending them around 1500.....right

Edit...: Twin IDMAX's would be sweet.. BUT....from WHAT IVE BEEN HEARING and seeing in videos....You could get a 15" SI Mag that FROM WHAT I HEAR would be louder....someone jump in if you've heard em and agree.

If you're looking at ID. Might also consider an ARC Flatline 12.d4.

if you can afford it the twin Max's would definately take my vote, my one 12" in a ported box (2.5 cubes @ 28 hz) gets silly loud with ~ 600 rms

I would LOVE to SELL a flatline for $700.

No, I've seen em go on ebay for around the $250 mark, and not too long ago, someone was selling a pair of them on here for $500 + shipping.

There is a pair on ebay right now for BUY IT NOW, $600.
