you discovered your h/u has a sub level adjustment, but are the rcas hooked up to the sub out on the h/u? the adjustment won't affect anything if the amp isn't hooked up to it.K i'm getting closer. I set the Bass eq to 0. It did go negative, so 0 was in the middle.
I also discovered the subwoofer level adjustment on my HU, I thought my headunit had it but I hadn't found it til now. So that is set to max.
What about the bass level on the headunit? With it at 0, I get pretty low output. Cranking it to +6 (max) REALLY bumps it up. I'm assuming this will clip the sub as well? Can I just set my gains with it maxxed out to get a good setting?
Wtf, your talking about a trunked car to a hatch, lol!Just played with my buddies 2 Type R 12's in an Eclipse. They did a 144.8 @ the headrest and a 147.2 in the kick with a zx1500.1 @ 38 hz. Keep in mind that this is a daily setup and my meter is hard. I don't see why you're having problems.
Trunks aren't as hard to make decently loud as people make them to be. Once you start trying to reach high 140's-150's then it gets hard because of space.Wtf, your talking about a trunked car to a hatch, lol!
