Type-R box volume

Ok, well I need more advice on this subject as not alot of people are seeing my post in the official Type-R post.

Some people have told me that the recommended enclosure volume by alpine for a sealed 10" is too small

They recommend:

gross volume range :0.5-0.8

optimum sealed box:

gross internal:0.65

Net internal 0.6

Now I listen to rock/metal, and I'am not a SPL person.. more SQL.

I want to build as sealed box as I want to save on space in my trunk+its my first box built.

Now I want to know what's your advice and recommendations..
