Whats a good 10" sub for a smalled sealed app?

I'm looking for a 10" sub that will add a little lowend to my system (I miss having some kind of bass output), but I'm not sure what to look at since I've been out of car audio for the better part of this past year.

My requirements are simple:

10" sub that works in small sealed boxes (.5-.75 cubes) and can handle my Linear Power 2.2hv all day long (600-800 underrated watts @ 4 or 2 ohm mono).

I'm trying to keep it relatively low priced...like under 250, but the cheaper the better.

Thanks in advance guys!

Hmm, those sound good.

Few things though, one, the Sound Splinters now come with the Alum cone correct, not the black dish (which IMO I like much better)...and two (yea I'm picky) I don't like the design on the SE cone, I prefer the SX style better...I wonder if RE would do that for me.

Anyway, keep em coming guys.

How about you sell me that amp :naugthy:

Anyways....if you can find an older Brahma, that would work well for you.

10" IDMax would be great aswell

10" OZ Audio Matrix Elite

Dayton Reference HO: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=295-462

That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full.

Those sound like good suggestions too...I'll have to compare all of them via a spread sheet and see who wins //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. The Peerless XXLS 10 sounds like a good option too, though it might be more suitable for ported apps, but I'll look into that more.

Oh ps, can you edit out my crappy spelling in the title (small, not smalled)

you could do an image dynamics IDQ10 as well, but you will be a bit high power wise - the idmax is a better choice, but a bit more expensive... the RLI10 is a great choice for that enviornment, the SE10 - in my oppinion - didnt sound to well in a small sealed enclosure...

//edit

negativo on the title. we moderators are not allowed to edit other peoples posts or thread titles.

if you wanted to go cheap, infinity referances are good sealed subs too

Nah, I want a quality 'super sub' so to speak. So far, my first choice is going to be an XXX 10 if I can find one...if not that Dayton is looking pretty good.

Ok, so now I've narrowed it down to either a Dayton Reference HO or Peerless XXLS in either the 10 or 12 inch flavor. The deciding factor will be which can fit in the required space (.5-1.0 cubes sealed) and which can handle my 2.2HV.

Anyone have experience with either driver?

TIA
