dont laugh i know its shitty but it was free an its a present for my girl... 2 dual subs you know the shitty kind from best buy, 2 10's in the enclosure they come in, and a dual 340 amp thats made to pair with it... i needed to get a converter to connect it to her stock hu ... now the guy said i needed an 8 guage wiring kit because 4 couldnt do it?? im just wondering which kit i should buy if you could help me out that would be great thanks

That's backwards...although I doubt 8awg wouldn't be enough, you're going to be lucky to get 200W out of that amp most likely.

go to walmart, spend $25 on the scosche wiring kit. the guy probably meant that the amp will only take 8 gauge at the largest.

I installed one of those kits into my brothers girlfriends car. Eight gauge will do the trick. He said eight because the power terminal a really small hole and will not accept 4 gauge. You could just shave down the 4 gauge and slide it in there. Those kits are ok, they are just a little sloppy, but she liked it cuz it lit up. Funny thing is someone stole her amp the other day.

Yeah I was just glad we did not put the alpine v12 amps in there
