Two DD 3512 or two sound qubed HDC-412 there the same price

The HD has a 4 inch to right?How about this, how many subs use a TI basket? Funny how nobody says they are the same.

My bad its the comp that has a 4 inch coil. Anyway the HD is a totally different motor and basket then the 9500.

They are all different. THE HDC4 looks a lot like the VFL COMP but that doesnt mean anything.

My point is you are NOT getting the same woofer cheaper, which one you like depends on the user.

Everybody wants to use the I got the same thing cheaper scapegoat. Whatever helps them sleep at night I guess

The VFL COMP and HDC4 look identical. They both look to use the DD 8 spoke basket. They both have 4 inch coils and the DD uses a 3inch. Therefor they do not use the same spiders.

I'm pretty sure they are made in China. They might share the HQ.

Even if they are just cause they are made in the same room dont mean they use the same parts. I cant see anything they use that looks the same besides the baskets which is kind of normal, you can only have so many basket designs.

If you can see something thats the same let me know

Ur still not listening ..of course they arent gona have the exact same parts they are totally diff subs ..but the soft parts all come from the same place ..hell @mlstrass; has a hdc4 18 on 2 aq3500s daily so thats good enough soft part quality for me lol

If 3500s can take 2500 watts daily, why do I need to recone my 9500s running on 2500 watts/per daily? Eventually the surround is going to go, or something else, when you are pushing your subs to the limits. Power handling on subs, also comes down to the box.

This is from DJ's mouth. I have lost track about what we are comparing lol. "The HD3 and HDC3 motors are quite a bit dif in design. The 9500 motor is a much more advanced design then the HD3 and HDC3 motors.

The 9500 motor is a bigger, much stronger big brother to the 3500. It has more excursion and will handle considerably more power."

I'm lost. I've read you can believe everything you see online. I've also read AQ uses china coils DD uses US. I also know for a fact it dont matter where something is made if the QC is up to par.

Why do you need to recone your 9500s? I sure dont, not even luke warm after 30 minutes heavy full tilt. There are a few guys local running a M2 to a single 3500, its fine. There are guys local running M4a to a single 9500, 2 M3s to a single 9500. MANY M4as to a pair of 9500s and MANY M4s to a pair of 3500s. Mine dont even reach full xmax playing 7hz under tuning
