TOYOTA COROLLA ALL SPEAKERS CRACKLE AFTER INSTALING NEW REAR

My rear speakers in my 2005 Toyota corolla were going bad so I bought some new cheap ones on amazon (30 dollars for 2). After installing they worked great. They next day they began to sound bad so I figured they were faulty cheap speakers. I turned the balance all the way to the front of the car and it worked. Just nothing in the back. Then the front speakers started crackling all at once with the back ones, and even with the volume all the way down, if i turned on the radio all speakers would crackle and then eventually went out completely. The next day I rewired the plug wires to the rear speakers, and it worked again, for the night all speakers worked great, and then the next morning they crackled again.

It seems like a wiring issue, I just don't understand why all speakers would cut out.

Any ideas on what it could be?

Possibly there is a fault with your head unit, or some speaker wire either that you worked with or buried in the car somewhere is shorting out intermittantly causing your head unit to misbehave.

That's my best 2 guesses. I'm guessing if you only spent 30$ on speakers all around you're probably not in the market to upgrade the head unit so you are limited in troubleshooting. Perhaps try unplugging just the rears for a few days, then just the fronts and see if the problem persists one way and not the other? At least narrow it down, then you can disconnect left and right and narrow down further?

Are the connections on the speakers close to any of the metal from the car
