every system i have ever had i've gotten tired of sooner or later... friends of mine have the same problem as well... i was wondering is this common? Are any of you tired of your system and want something new?

depends what the system consists of. i become tired of mediocre equipment quickly, but i'm stupid cuz i dont save up for the highest end equipment. i constantly buy things that are a small step up from the last, always wasting my money. when it sounds just right, then i'll stop getting tired of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I've been satisfied with my current setup longer than I have with any systems I've ever had in the past (though people here seem to poo-poo Kenwood's gear as a matter of course more often than not).

Once I get a better box built for my DAT M6 I reckon I'll likey leave it alone for a loooong while. Eventually, though, I think everyone wants to upgrade because there's forever room for improvement in any system.

im not sure i get tired of my systems but i do feel like after a few months its time for a change

Ever since I've gotten my XXX I'm pretty much happy. And probably will be for quite some time. I only buy new stuff when I feel I can get a much better product. I just switched to Orion amps. Will probably stick with these also.

I used to change out HU's every 6 months. Now I'm keeping the one I have until technology passes it up.

I get tired of mine sometimes, but I've switched it up so many times just to try new things...different approach. I've pretty much TOPPED out myself in almost all areas I care about numerous times. It keeps me satisfied.

youre not really into car audio unless you are getting tired of your system. to me, 'getting tired of it' just means your audio tastes and judging are getting better and better. even people who are winning SQ comps left and right are probably still wanting something more....same with SPL.

its an ongoing habit. nothing is wrong.

I used to change subs out every few months. Ive had my current system for a while now..and Im not sick of it at all.
