I sent him this back...

Hey,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I am the owner. I dont know how to describe the condition in full without pictures. Performance wise, this amp is in fine condition. But, it is not totally scratch free. During the install, someone thought he knew what he was doing and began to drill a hole into my box and nicked the side up a little bit. This is something very minor, but i want to be sure and point out every aspect. This is something you would not notice unless you were told about it or were looking for it. The only other significant scratch is on the top. It is about 1/2 an inch long. It is not a gouge, just a scratch. It is not that noticable. I do not think this will force you to not buy the amp, as with anything you buy, it wont stay mint forever. Overall, the amp is in very good condition. To tell you about the amp i guess i will give you some specs. It has a MOSFET power supply, and it takes 1 25A fuse. It has pre amp outputs, with a terminal size of 6/6. If the amp is bridged, it will put out 225x1 watts. At 2 ohms it will put out 110 watts x 2. At 4 ohms it will put out 75watts x 2. The amps peak power is 150x2.

I will sell this amp. I need to get rid of it. I amp upgrading my system to a RE Audio 12.1 amplifier that will run me $400, so i need the money to buy it. As for the price, you can make me an offer. The cheapest price that i could find the amp online was $80 without shipping.

Is that not screwed up as hell or not? I didnt give him my address, what 3 other items could he be talking about, and what the hell is the deal with $2,500? JESUS CHRIST!

Never wire any money internationally. Don't do it. Get rid of all temptation to do it. OK?

I lost $200 to a "seller" in Singapore. Simply disappeared, and left me with no amp and a lighter bank account. I tried filing fraud charges with his bank, but convienently, he closed out the account after payment was received so I couldn't do squat. Classic. The only thing I could do was get the messageboard he was on to cancel his account to stop him from doing the same thing to someone else.

Besides, the wire fees will cost you roughly $40 extra anyway.

Stay away.

I know that, theres no way im making any deals with this guy now. What the hell is he talking about? 2,500???

yes, it is a scam! well documented on boards. You'll neither money nor gear. There is no 'client' or shipping company. they are all in it together, they'll pay OVER price for gear, you'll deposit a bad M.O. or worse into your account, GIVE the shipping guy the extra AND the gear, the crap will bounce outta your account like flubber and they won't give a $#!+

it's usually posted as e-bay scam.

The Fake Overpayment

A con artist buys an $800 ring from a seller, but indicates that he "accidentally" paid $1800. The scammer points out his "oversight" and asks the seller to wire him the $1,000 via Western Union. A common part of this ploy are statements like, "I misunderstood you, my English is not very good," Baldwin said.

The payment turns out to be some form of fraud, so when the seller sends the $1,000, he's out both the ring and the money. Western Union payments are completely untraceable and unrecoverable, she said. "Never return overpayment via Western Union."

Ok... wow the world is ****ed up eh? Im composing a nice little response email, just because im bored.
