SEXYTIME!! NIIICE!
Ok, Ive got a Pioneer DEH - P6400 in my car, and I believe I asked this question when I first got the hu a couple of years ago...i just cant remember the solution and i have no users manual.

I just put a new engine in my car so obviously i had to unhook the battery which reset my hu settings. my question is, how do i stop my hu from going back and forth between a black background to the backlit blue bg? Its annoying as ****, especially at night cause the screen is bright as shit.

I remember i have to do something like turn the source off and hold a button or some shit...

anyone?

According to the manual (available as a .pdf from Pioneer's site) you need to have your key turned on and the stereo turned off. Press the #5 radio preset while the power is turned off and it should kill that display reverse mode.

If the feature demo mode is turned on following the same procedure as above but pressing the #6 radio preset will kill it.

No worries, guy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Did that solve the problem?

I have several different audio manufacturers' websites saved into my favorites for quick reference as I seem to be the one that most of my friends call when they have car audio issues. Only took a few seconds to look up.
