I was wondering if there was any way I could get time alignment to move my sub up with front stage without replacing my factory head unit or buying a dsp.
its pretty simple man just start measuring the distance from each driver to your ear and entering values if its in inches. If your head unit does not use inches but M/S need to learn how to convert inches to Meters per Second. Afterwards just play with it. Refer to my first post for blending.Point me in the right direction to accomplish. I never even tried running a Sq system so I really lack this kind of knowledgeable. Hence why I'm here
Just use your ears. You need to cut out any peaks from the subs so they don't jump out at you. Where the subs meet the mids needs to be a smooth transition.Point me in the right direction to accomplish. I never even tried running a Sq system so I really lack this kind of knowledgeable. then you can't time align. you have to have that option somewhere along your signal in order to use itI don't have the time alignment setting on my head unit or anything?
nope you need it. If you want something cheap, get a soundstream harmony, its 200 on ebay. That's what I'm asking... how can I get this feature without a dsp or replacing my head unit.
