Thought i would post some previous boxes i have built pics inside

this is some work ive been figuring about my transmission box. im making one for one of my 10s so i can get some trial and error out of the way before making the real one. does this sound right?

1130 / 30.805 = 36.68 / 4 = 9.17 ft (1/4 wave) throat length.

6.25 (1/2 of enclosure height) x 6.25 x 3.14 (pi) = 122.72 sq in.

9.17/3 (number of folds) = 3.06 ft.

3.06 x 12 ( converting into inches ) =36.68 inches long.

radiating area of subwoofer / internal hight of enclosure = throat width

46.8 / 12.5 = 3.74 inch wide throat

port length = 36.68 inches long,

port width = 3.74 inches

Map Props to you on your box building skill mobeious, thats some real nice fabrication man. And that ul12 only weighs 16.6lbs thats pretty nice for it being able to handle that much power.

Transmission line enclosures are not always going to use the Fs of the driver and the Sd of the driver for line length and line area. I wouldn't recommend taking that route as you will most likely end up with an efficient enclosure that is huge. You could easily get the same response and output with a ported enclosure that would be much smaller.
