Once again everything is in good shape coils,surround, tinsel leads, cone etc.. Just ripped apart the spiders. LOL

All that damage and I was still able to post a 150.1 in Street C. Not to bad is I do say so myself.

It's hard to keep em together when the car peaks at 40hz. LOL

lol yeah i feel ya. i actually just bought a couple of the hdc315s today from DJ, hopefully they will be shipped out soon enough.

You will enjoy your HDC's. They will take 5k for a pr. comfortably.

So do you know whats making them rip apart?Is it from playing below tuning possibly?If your peaking at 40 what does your box cut off at?

he's peaking at a frequency where the subs move alot and sending a shit load of power to them.

You will enjoy your HDC's. They will take 5k for a pr. comfortably.

yes i have been very pleased with AQ so far on my experiences. I had an original HD 12 and two of their newer version 8s and was more then pleased with each product.

i plan on doing a diferent amplifier setup though...its in the works...

He's peaking at 40 which means the box is probably tuned in the low 30's with a peak freq of 40hz.With that anything below 32-30 hz he would basically be free airing the subs.And with 4k to each I'm probably sure there moving quit a bit.

I'm not saying its wrong just asking if he thought this might be part of the problem.

The box is actually tuned to 43hz. With the colder weather it peaks a little lower. They do move more than I would like which was in direct relation to the size of the box. yea playing 40hz when ur box is tuned to 43hz is gonna shredd them, its like freeair'in them. looks like u had some extra excursion there rob with only surronds as dampners,lol...

i didnt even know there was a show this weekend i just stumble across them on the internet,lol. i will if some for reason i cant get my building permit saturday morning. i want to get my deck built or started anyway. where is this one at?

i saw there was gonna be one on the 16th in oswego and i put it in my phone. where is that one at chris's only shop or the one behind ponderosa?
