There are to many options!! Need help narrowing down..

Ok, I put a Sundown z15v2 in my wifes car and I took it to a comp a couple weeks ago, I hit a 142.5 with a sundown 1500 amp. now I have a Planet Audio bb.2400 on it. I want my car, a 2012 Ford Fusion to be louder then her car. I am only wanting to use about 3.5 cu ft. I can't decided if I want to do one high end 15 or 2 12. I am looking to spend about $800 on the sub(s) and I am going to put about 4000 watts to it/them and i would like to have room to expand one day. I have been thinking 2 dc audio xl 12, 2 xcon 12, 1 warden 15, 1 zcon 15 or 1 level 5 15. I am not set on only these subs. I had an icon years ago and I liked it a lot. My goal is 150db in the trunk class. That class allows 2-10s, 2-12s or 1-15. I also can get a hold of 2 12w7 in a ported box for $600.

Look into tantric sounds hd woofers. Also if ur interested in a warden i know where u can get one, they are hard to come by right now since they are not making them again untill 2013 most likely and they will be different then the original. So let me know know if ur interested. Also u will have to give up alittle more space then 3.5 cubes for either 2 12's or a 15. 3.5 will be good for internal volume but the box will be bigger then that externally.

I was talking to one of the reps at dc and he said the 12s will be perfect in 1.5ft cu net space. The problem is that I have no idea what to get yet. I need it to be louder then my wifes car lol. I can't seem to find a website for Tantric Sounds. Also, my Sundown is in a 2.75ft cu box @ 36HZ. Forgot also.. RE XXX..

a trunk is hard to break 150s, that being said i would look into hdc3s or 4s

and 2 12's would be most cone area

I just sold my hdc3. I have a couple friends hitting 153s with 2 15s. As close as I can get to 150 is the goal. Those b2 audio subs look real nice too.. The CC line any good?

Loudest trunk in the history of the world is running Tantric subs. Look for them on FB. The website isn't up yet. They're currently sold out of the HD motors but you could get into a pair of HDD 12's with your budget. Talk about beefy. Dual 220mm slugs. 3" of throw. Nasty. I run one in my trunk right now.

As for your options, (2) 12's is a no brainer there.

Is it worth it to pay extra for the wardens or just go with the death penalties if I choose that route? I can get a good deal on ia stuff.

That's the HDD12 I was suggesting to the OP. And the one that's in my trunk as we speak.

Ok, I think I have it all narrowed down.. kinda.. I am going to go with 2 12s and a powerbass 5000 amp. Mayhems, Wardens or newer re xxx or dd 3512 or 9512?
